Several months later…

Hello, everybody. I haven’t updated this blog because my laptop had problems since October. It eats the Internet data for its update (my laptop is running n Windows 10 -_-).

Since I am about to make a blog post for a while, here’s what happened for the last several months:

September 2020:
I have experienced a breakdown, and it resulted to me being not in a mood to do anything… as in anything. I stopped listening to music, stopped using social media, stop self-studying the languages I love, stopped doing household chores, kept on thinking about what will happen for the next several days. It lasted for like two weeks.

October-November 2020:
I started to regain my confidence, and I returned to my everyday tasks. I tried to keep my head up and be positive.

December 2020:
I’ve got good news, and I have returned to work after nine months. I happily attended to my work duties and started to paid off my debts.

January 2021:
I slowly got back to my feet, and I tried saving money again. I haven’t saved much yet, but I am saving according to what I can since there’s still bills to pay. In this month, I was able to buy the 24-count Crayola Pearl Crayons and the 60-count Special Edition Faber-Castell Classic Colour Pencils.

February 2021:
My micro SD card got corrupted, and all the files from January 2020 up to January 2021 got lost. I thought that nothing has really happened last year, so I had to move on and try to buy another micro SD some time.

How are you doing these past several months? I hope that everyone is doing well. Anyways, Happy Lunar New Year!

Your guide in buying Crayola crayons

Hello, everyone! For those who don’t know yet, I collect Crayola crayons, but I only collect what I think is appealing to me. I have done product reviews of them on my official YouTube channel (please check them out).

I will make a detailed post about how I became a Crayola crayon collector later on. Right now we have better things to discuss.

Crayola is an American art supplies brand currently owned by Hallmark. Its products are sold worldwide, with some countries like the Philippines hosting local manufacturing of its products, particularly the world-famous Crayola crayons. Crayola is the best-known brand when it comes to crayons, and the company has more than 100 years of experience in manufacturing them.

When I was young, I was able to get my hands on smaller packs, but as I grew older, I came to afford the larger packs.

Buying a pack of Crayola crayons now? Wait a minute, read this first and know the pack that suits your preference.

Crayola crayons are available in packs of 8-count, 16, 24, 48, 64, 96, and 120.
The 120-count crayons contains all the 120 regular colors. The neon/fluorescent crayons are considered regular colors.

Colors that are found in all packs (8, 16, 24, 48, 64, 96, and 120):

Colors that are found in the 24-count pack and above:

Take note that since November 2017, the new color Bluetiful can be found in these packs replacing the retired Dandelion.

Colors that are found in the 96-count pack and above:

In addition, eight specialty crayons are exclusive to the 96-count pack: four Metallic FX crayons and four Gel FX crayons. The Metallic FX can be purchased as a separate 16-count pack (or the upgraded 24-count Metallic crayons; changes are coming to its inclusion in the regular packs soon). There is currently no separate pack for the Gel FX crayons.

Colors that are found only in the 120-count pack:

At the back of every Crayola crayon pack, there is an advisory indicated: Contents and colors may vary. Please retain packaging for future reference. This indicates that not all of the colors listed are expected to be included in the said packs (e.g. there were incidences of aquamarine, cotton candy, and pink sherbert being included in the 96-count pack instead of the pink Gel FX crayon, outrageous orange, and laser lemon in 2016). However, the inclusions indicated are the general or normal lineup for their respective crayon packs.

Have you decided which Crayola crayon pack to buy?

It’s been a while

Hello, everyone!

It’s been a very long time since I last posted here in this blogsite. Anyway, I revamped this site into an all-around blog as you can see. I thought that I could do something more for the blog rather than just posting about language learning stuff, so I decided to revive the site into a “more wholesome” one.

Since my last post before the rebranding was from mid-2016, I’ll make a recap of what I have done for the past four years:

2016
I started working in an English learning center (academy in layman’s term) for Korean students in July 2016 for my first-ever summer camp. I then continued work as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher while preparing for my independent music debut for the rest of the year.

2017
Things got busier by the onset of 2017 due to the winter camp at the academy. I continued teaching, but I decided to quit by the end of March due to stress and personal reasons. Afterwards, I released my independent debut single “all is not lost” on April 12.
I then got an opportunity to work as an online proofreader in a Manila-based Korean educational services company in June. I then continued going to auditions and performed while doing my day job. By November, I joined another academy just in time for the winter camp. Since then, I worked part-time-full-time in between the two companies.

2018
Into a year between being a proofreader, an ESL teacher, and continuing work as a singer-musician, I released a new song titled ‘WAYS‘ on May 15. Auditions, performances, work. That’s what I did that year and the next.

2019
In August, I decided to put a halt to my music activities. December came with the release of the song “Big Bad Wolf” on the 1st and my debut EP “Kevinskaia Respyblika” on the 27th, closing the page of my overall seven-year long music activities. (I’ll talk about this later on.)

2020
I have never thought that this year would be an unexpected twist not only to me but for the entire humanity as January marked the month the Taal volcano erupted, and the COVID-19 pandemic followed suit. My last work attendance was in early March, and all my jobs were put on hold since March 16. April 14 saw the release of what has been my post-career music release, which is a self-remix version of my 2019 track “Big Bad Wolf”.

Then, I forgot that I still have this blogsite so earlier this month, I began pondering what to do with it. I ended up deleting all the posts and relaunched this site ‘cuz why not. To be honest, I have this on-and-off interest in blogging; I am not sure why I have this feeling, but I hope me lurking and blogging would finally be a long-term thing that I would do. #
